In March 1999, the Findings and Recommendations for the Remediation of Historic Pesticide Contamination guidance was released by a task force that allowed for soil blending of historic pesticide residues to attain applicable soil cleanup criteria.  NJDEP regulations and guidance do not allow for the blending of soil contaminants to achieve cleanup criteria for any other type of chemical discharge. More information
